Live action vs. Animatie | Worden films te REALISTISCH?

Vorig jaar waren er een aantal films die zware kritiek te verduren kregen wegens 'teveel' REALISME. Neem Cats, Sonic the Hedgehog en John Favreau's The Lion King. Met een opbrengst van anderhalf miljard is de remake van The Lion King de grootste animatiefilm aller tijden. Betekent het dat animatiefilms voortaan naar dit niveau van fotorealisme zullen streven, en belangrijker nog: verliezen films hierdoor hun magie?
